- Kentucky KM-140S
- This "tear-drop," or "A," style has an "F"-hole, solid spruce top, and has laminated maple back and sides. The solid top provides a great sound, and gives this instrument a nice, solid "chunk". Nicely bound and finished, and easy to play, this is a great beginner's mandolin.
- With its Superior gig bag, this lists for $224.95 ($195 + $29.95). Our price: $159 w/bag.

- Kentucky KM-150S
- Like its laminated cousin, the KM-140, above, this "tear-drop," or "A," style has a 12-fret maple neck, and maple back and sides. But this model not only has a solid spruce top: Those maple back and sides are solid woods, too! Dot inlays, bound fingerboard, nickel-plated metal parts, and off-white buttons. Nicely bound and finished, and easy to play, this is also a great beginner's mandolin, with a nice "woody" sound.
- With a hardshell case, this lists for $358 ($249 + $109). Our price: $249
Now In Stock.
- Kentucky KM-350S
- This is the penultimate top-o'-the-line Kentucky "A" style mandolin--only the 380S is above it in their line-up, and that only because they used more figured maple for the 380S. The 350S has all solid woods, of course--solid spruce top and solid maple neck, back and sides (nicely sunburst, BTW). There is a nice mother of pearl fleur-de-lys inlaid in the snake head peghead. This model also has a dovetail neck joint, and extended fingerboard, as did the original, vintage mandolins, setting it apart from the lessor models.
- With a hardshell case, this lists for $504.95 ($395 + $109.95). Our price: $399 .
