Recording King banjos were designed by Greg Rich (formerly of Gibson and later of Rich and Taylor) to be a high quality instrument made in China. The historic name "Recording King" was chosen for these banjos.

The RK-Elite-75 Elite features the Recording King take on the classic "Flying Eagle" (aka "Squashed Frog" or "Roadkill") inlay pattern. This is a mahogany banjo and the one shown has a flathead tone ring.

	The RK-Elite-75s are mahogany banjos featuring a gloss finish.			The mahogany neck has a gloss finish, and a very comfortable profile.
	The "double-cut" peghead has a classic shape and inlay pattern in its ebony overlay.			The RK-Elite-75 tuners are high quality, Gotoh brand planetaries.
	The ebony fingerboard has Recording King's take on the classic "Flying Eagle" inlay.			This model comes set up with a Presto style tailpiece, a Remo head, and a large armrest.
	The RK-Elite-75 model has a one-piece flange. The binding is ivoroid.			The RK-Elite-75's mahogany resonator has double concentric purfling rings.
