  •   Custom Gold Sweetgrass Open Back
    This spectacular open back has a green-dyed maple neck with a fully fretted, ebony fingerboard with abalone and MOP inlay. The Victorian headstock also has ebony overlay and an abalone and MOP inlay. The banjo comes factory-spiked at frets 7 and 9. Ome uses the newly redesigned, Schaller brand planetary tuners on these banjos.

    The 11-inch pot has an Ome "Silver Spun" tone ring (guess it should be "Gold Spun in this case as it's gold-plated to match all the other hardware, which includes an engraved armrest and "Harp" tailpiece.

    It comes set up with a Renaissance head and a Snuffy Smith bridge, and sounds as only a Silver Spun can! Video See and hear this banjo played (5.5MB .wmv file).

  • Jubilee Deluxe 12-Inch Open Back
    This great open back has a maple neck with a scooped, ebony fingerboard and handsome abalone inlay. The Victorian headstock also has ebony overlay and a handsome inlay. The banjo comes factory-spiked at frets 7 and 9. Ome uses the newly redesigned, Schaller brand planetary tuners on these banjos.

    The handsome, 12-inch pot has a two-ply maple rim using an integral wooden tone rim design. Note Ome's proprietary, heavy duty hardware, including the closed-end bracket nuts.

    It's now set up with a Fiberskyn head, an No_Knot tailpiece, and a Snuffy Smith bridge, and sounds great!   • Juniper Deluxe 11-Inch Open Back
    This wonderful open back has a figured maple neck with a scooped, ebony fingerboard and handsome abalone inlay. The Victorian headstock also has ebony overlay and a handsome inlay. The banjo comes factory-spiked at frets 7 and 9.

  • Juniper Megatone Resonator
    This mahogany bluegrass banjo has a very interestingly figured mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard and handsome abalone and MOP inlay. It comes factory-spiked at 7, 9, and 10. The "double-cut" headstock also has a nicely figured, striped ebony overlay and a handsome inlay. The instrument has Schaller's new planetary tuners.

    The pot has a a three-ply maple rim with Ome's Megatone, bluegrass tone ring. As does the neck, the mahogany resonator has a super-smooth tung oil finish. The resonator has handsome "tortoise" and white binding.

    It's set up with a Ludwig head, a Snuffy Smith bridge, and Ome's "Harp" straight-pulling tailpiece. All this adds up to killer bluegrass sound! Video See and hear a Juniper played (1.5MB .wmv)

  • Primrose 11-Inch Silverspun Open Back
    A gorgeous maple openback banjo featuring some highly flamed maple on the neck, and a beautiful "Primrose" inlay in its fully fretted, ebony fingerboard. The ebony-overlain peghead continues the Primrose theme with its MOP and abalone inlay. Affixed are Schaller planetary tuners.

    The 11-inch maple pot has a Silverspun tone ring and sounds great!. Note Ome's proprietary, heavy duty hardware, including the closed-end bracket nuts.

    It's set up with a Renaissance head and a Snuffy Smith bridge: this is a killer banjo!

    The 11-inch pot has a three-ply maple rim and Ome's Silver Spun tone ring. Note Ome's proprietary, heavy duty hardware, including the closed-end bracket nuts. Similalry, the arm rest is Ome's own "no-clamp" design.

    It's set up with a Renaissance head, Ome's "Harp" tailpiece, and a Snuffy Smith bridge, and sounds absolutely brilliant!

  • Sweetgrass Megatone 200 Bluegrass Banjo
    This beautiful banjo has a flamed maple neck and resonator, finished in a striking "plum" color. The mother-of-pearl and abalone inlay in its ebony-overlaid double cut headstock and its ebony fingerboard are equally striking. Note in the peghead photo that this instrument has a top-adjusting truss rod, with a cover on the peghead, rather than Ome's usual through-the-heel adjustment point.

    This one comes from Ome with a Remo head (they usually use Ludwigs) a Snuffy Smith bridge, and has 2 spikes installed (7 & 9).

    With its Megatone 200 tone ring, this one has the pop and crack to be called a "killer banjo." And it looks sharp!
