The Phoenix model is most often thought of as a bluegrass banjo, but it turns out to be quite a nice openback with a Silverspun tonering! Flamed maple and a handsome inlay combined with Ome's impeccable workmanship make for a really great banjo!

	The bound peghead is Ome's "Double-cut" shape, and has a handsome abalone and MOP inlay in its ebony overlay.			The tuners are planetaries having 12 teeth per gear (instead of the usual 6) and are remarkably smooth in operation.
	It comes set up with a Snuffy Smith brand bridge and a Renaissance head. With that Silverspun tone ring, it's clear as a bell!			The gloss-finished, instrument has a gorgeous, warm stain.
	The fully fretted, bound ebony fingerboard has Ome's "Phonix" inlay in abalone and MOP.			The 11-inch, 3-ply maple pot is nicely flamed.
	The Silverspun tone ring is a no-hole version.			The one-peice maple neck is beautifully flamed.
