Deering introduced their version of a short-scale banjo in 2009, calling it a "parlor" banjo. Those who are into Old Time Music know that much of it is played in the keys of "A" and "D" so this banjo is ideal for avoiding having to find and use a capo.

At our Store Manager's suggestion, we started selling Goodtimes set up the way ZEPP has his, i.e. Renaissance head, No-Knot tailpiece, scooped fingerboard, Moon brand bridge, Ome chenilled strings, and the addition of a hardshell case.

When Deering introduced this parlor model, we had to "Zeppify" it, too, of course, making it the perfect low priced OT instrument!

	The Zeppified Deering Goodtime Parlor Banjo is an all maple banjo with a natural blond finish.			The one-piece wide maple neck has its peghead attached by a finger joint, while the heel is built up with a separate piece on the north end of the neck.
	The Deering peghead has a classic shape, with their Goodtime logo burned into its face.			The tuners are sealed "guitar-style" (worm and pinion) with a Gotoh worm and pinion-geared 5th string.
	The finger board is scooped above the 15th fret and has inlaid wooden position markers. Scale length is 23-1/8 inch.			The instrument is set up with a Renaissance head, a Moon brand bridge, a No-Knot tailpiece, and Ome brand, chenilled strings.
	The 11-inch pot is 3-ply maple. All the metal parts are nickel-plated.			The 11-inch maple pot has a shaped wooden tone rim.
